Elide Fire Extinguishing Ball – Automatic Fire Protection Made Simple
The Elide Fire Extinguishing Ball is an innovative fire suppression device designed to provide fast, automatic fire protection with minimal effort. Weighing just 1.3kg, the ball is lightweight, easy to use and capable of extinguishing a fire with 360° coverage over an area of up to 4 metres.
Unlike a traditional fire extinguisher, the Elide Fire Ball requires no special training to operate. In an emergency, simply throw or roll the ball into the base of the fire. Once it comes into contact with flames, it activates automatically within 3 to 10 seconds, dispersing a dry chemical extinguishing agent to quickly suppress the fire.
The Elide Fire Ball can also operate automatically when permanently installed. Mounted approximately 10–30cm abovean area where a fire is most likely to start, it will activate when exposed to flames or extreme heat, helping control the fire even when nobody is present. During activation it also produces a loud bang, alerting nearby people that a fire has occurred.
Its compact design makes it suitable for a wide range of applications including homes, workshops, grow rooms, kitchens, electrical switchboards, offices, warehouses, factories, schools and vehicles. It is particularly effective when positioned near electrical equipment, power boards, gas cylinders, kitchen appliances and other areas where fires are more likely to occur.
The Elide Fire Ball is environmentally friendly, containing a dry chemical extinguishing agent based on mono ammonium phosphate. The extinguishing powder is safe for people, animals and plants when used as intended.
