Built into the dome are two adjustable ventilation vents, allowing growers to fine-tune humidity levels as plants develop. During early propagation the vents can remain closed to maintain high humidity, while gradually opening them helps harden plants before transplanting.

The sturdy ribbed catch tray is designed to improve drainage by allowing excess water to drain away from the seedling tray.
