Crystal Clear™ is a specialised flushing solution designed to remove accumulated mineral salts from coco coir while helping plants finish cleanly before harvest. During the growing cycle, fertilisers and minerals can bind to coco fibres, reducing nutrient availability and leaving unwanted nutrient residues within both the growing medium and the plant. Crystal Clear™ helps release these locked-up minerals, restoring nutrient mobility and allowing them to be flushed from the root zone more effectively.
Over time, coco coir naturally retains calcium, magnesium, potassium and other dissolved mineral salts. While this buffering ability is one of coco’s greatest advantages, excessive salt build-up can eventually restrict nutrient movement and contribute to nutrient lockouts. Crystal Clear™ breaks the bond between these accumulated minerals and the coco fibres, helping clear the root zone and improve the effectiveness of the final flush.
During the finishing stage, plants naturally begin using the nutrients stored within their leaves and stems. Using Crystal Clear™ encourages this natural process by helping remove excess mineral reserves from the plant while flushing unwanted fertiliser residues from the growing medium.
