Pure CO2 Bags — Controlled Carbon for Maximum Growth
Product Description
Pure CO2 Bags are the next evolution in natural CO2 enrichment for indoor gardening.
Engineered for performance and flexibility, each bag is manually activated by adding 1
litre of water, giving you complete control over when CO2 production begins. Whether
you’re running a single grow tent or managing a multi-room operation, this on-demand
activation feature makes scheduling your CO2 delivery effortless and efficient.
Formulated with a proprietary blend of Trichoderma-enhanced substrate, these bags
stimulate vigorous CO2 production while also supporting plant health through improved
microbial activity and root zone development. Once activated, each bag releases
consistent levels of CO2 between 1000–1500 ppm—the ideal range for
photosynthesis—across a span of 3 to 5 months, depending on environmental
conditions.
How It Works: CO2 Activation & Lifecycle
To activate your Pure CO2 Bag:
1. Gently slide the handle to the side to expose the sealed inner opening.
2. Pour 1 litre of lukewarm water directly into the substrate cavity.
3. Slide the handle back into place and hang the bag above your plant canopy.
Once water is added, the Trichoderma fungus is stimulated and begins metabolizing the
organic substrate inside the bag. This natural fermentation process produces a slow,
controlled release of CO2 that intensifies over the first few days and maintains optimal
levels throughout the grow cycle.
Note: Some bags may arrive partially pre-activated. If the bag feels warm or slightly
inflated upon arrival, skip the activation step.
Ideal performance occurs between 21°C and 33°C. Lower temperatures may slow
microbial activity and CO2 output.
Optimised Setup for Plant Success
For best results:
• Hang the Pure CO2 Bag just above the plant canopy using the integrated strap
handle.• Ensure your grow tent or room has good airflow and circulation, allowing CO2 to
drift downward naturally and reach plant leaves.
• In sealed or semi-sealed environments, use fans to distribute CO2 evenly during
the light cycle when plants are actively photosynthesizing.
Post-Cycle Reuse & CO2 Layering
Once the bag’s primary CO2 output tapers (after 3 to 5 months), you can still extract
value:
• Move the used bag to the base of your grow space. It will continue to emit low
levels of residual CO2 while a fresh, newly activated bag is suspended above.
• This “layered CO2” strategy ensures consistent enrichment across multiple crop
cycles without waste.
Sustainable Afterlife: Compost or Reuse
The bag’s contents aren’t just spent substrate—they’re a living microbial inoculant.
After the CO2 lifecycle ends:
• Mix the contents into potting soil, garden beds, or coco coir to improve
microbial biodiversity and organic matter.
• Trichoderma remains active in soil and supports root development, nutrient
solubilization, and overall plant vigor long after CO2 production ends.
